We held our daughter’s 8th birthday party at Tanglin Arts Studio and it was amazing. The kids had a 2 hour dance class that ended with a performance for the parents. The studio was beautifully decorated, Teacher was wonderful, and the whole thing was so fuss-free and at a reasonable cost. We were also able to have dinner & drinks at the restaurant next door so the day was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend for a fun-fillled, low-effort birthday!
My daughter started dance classes with Tanglin Art Studio at the tender age of 4. She is now 11, and her passion for dance has flourished thanks to the amazing team at TAS. She has made many lifelong friendships over the years; it’s like a 2nd family to her.
It’s been lovely watching the girls grow together doing something they love and exploring many dance forms, which are taught in a safe and fun environment.

Incredibly, despite not teaching her directly, Katja always knows how my daughter is doing in class and is always happy to chat about her progress and make recommendations as to how she can improve.
I’m really impressed by Katja’s drive and mission to provide a breadth of experiences and resources for both children and parents who are part of the Tanglin Arts Centre Community. The free monthly workshops with Mothering Girls is a perfect example of this.

Tanglin Arts Studio is a wonderful place. The teachers are outstanding and the studio is managed very professionally, while at the same time with a very warm, personal touch. The positive experience of the dancers is always in focus, and the staff really go out of their way to organise inclusive events for everyone to participate in.
My daughter attends the jazz and acro classes here at Tanglin Arts Studio. These classes are the highlights of her week. She loves the classes, her teachers and learning new dance routines. There is a strong sense of community here at TAS and she has made amazing friendships with like-minded girls. It’s a wonderful dance studio for children, with passionate, knowledgeable and lovely teachers.
My daughter has been with TAS for over 5 years, and she has learned so much in Ballet, Tap and Jazz! They gain in posture and fitness and also overcome stage fright during year-end performance. Teachers are really passionate, and my daughter has so much fun I wouldn’t put her in any other studio in Singapore.

The introduction of the Early Years Program has been a game changer. Classes are fun, my little one wishes they were longer. The lovely teaching assistants (big girls) who really mentor and are super friendly
What sets Tanglin Arts Studio apart from the others are the amazing dance teachers and the fantastic overall service. My daughter loves coming to dance classes with Miss Ashleigh and Miss Rebecca every week. In only a few short weeks she has learned so much and become much more confident in her ability. The teachers are friendly, approachable and fun while at the same time instilling the discipline of dance.The communication from the office/admin side is professional and it’s very easy to have any query dealt with quickly and efficiently.
The location of the studio in the Hollandse Club really is an unexpected bonus: what a lovely venue! The membership option is very attractive to make it a family event to come to dancing, or it’s equally pleasant to sit in the cafe or on a bench in garden while waiting for dance class to finish.
