-Bachelor’s degree in English Literature & Civilisation with Foreign Languages.
-International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA,UK) – Licentiate Freestyle Dance Teaching Qualification.
-Royal Academy of Dance registered Teacher.
-Certified Progressing Ballet Technique Instructor
-Certified BTEC Level 2 Dance (Performing Arts).
-Certified Acrobatics Arts instructor.
-Certified Zumba instructor Level 2.
-Certified BOKWA dance Fitness Instructor Level 3.

Sarah is a secondary and sixth-form college educator. She draws her expertise from her background in Languages, Dance, Performing Arts and the Creative Arts. She specialises in holistic approaches to education, creative curriculum design and leadership.

She has dedicated her career to enhancing her students’ potential, first as a Language teacher, and then as a Performing Arts, Physical Education and Dance teacher. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Civilisation from the University of Reims in France, where she also specialised in 3 Foreign Languages. In the UK, she completed her Postgraduate qualification in Secondary Education and a Master of Arts in Dance Education from the Royal Academy of Dance, accredited by The University of Bath.

She has actively performed as a singer and dancer as well as scripting and directing Musicals in various school settings and she has over 18 years of experience teaching in mixed-gender and single-gender schools preparing students for their GCSEs, A-levels and BTEC in dance. She naturally gravitated toward freestyle dance and especially towards the Latin, Hip Hop and African cultures. She taught more than 12 dance styles including dance fitness trends such as Zumba, Bokwa, and recently TapFit and Yoga.

Sarah believes dance is more than just a form of entertainment and is one of the rare subjects that encompass benefits that no other discipline can provide. Hence, her dedication to using and sharing her versatile experience, her knowledge and her passion for education and dance to nurture the next generations of dancers.
